Get Free Hotel Nights with Credit Card CertificatesGuide to the Radisson Rewards Program

For every $10,000 per cardmember year you spend on the Radisson Reward credit cards, you’ll get a free night certificate good at any Radisson Hotel Group hotel in the United States (up to 3 per card per year).

This is in addition to the annual bonus of up to 40,000 points you get, just for keeping the card.

Quick take

For most of our readers, these are the least interesting free night certificates. They can only be redeemed at hotels located within the United States, yet Radisson Hotel Group is a European-centric hotel chain that has great options in Europe, but a weaker collection of hotels in the United States. Furthermore, most of the American hotels are concentrated in their less expensive brands. There are only a handful of high-end hotels where you can maximize the value of this certificate and those are generally considerably less nice than those from other brands.

However, if you travel a lot or have specific travel plans, you can get great value from these certificates. Unlike the other certificates they aren't capped (and can be used on every night of the week). For example, the Radisson Blue Aqua Hotel Chicago is a great hotel. There are other Radisson Blus in Anaheim and Minneapolis and a Radisson Red in downtown Portland Oregon. If you plan on visiting one of these locations every year, it can be easily worth the cost of keeping this card and spending some multiple of $10,000. But if you aren’t, you should probably stick to other options.

Great places to use your free nights

Here’s a couple of links to get your imagination going. There are only five Category 7 hotels in the United States: the Radisson Blu Aqua Chicago, Radisson Blue Mall of America, Radisson Wall Street, Radisson Times Square, and Radisson 5th Aveneue. And only three Category 6 hotels: the Radisson RED Portland, Radisson Blue Minneapolis, and Country Inn & Suites, Ocean City, Maryland.

Expiration rules
